CHECKUP, CONSULTATION AND TREATMENT PLANNING

During your first visit to our dental hospital, your dentist will discuss with you if you have any current concerns and perform a general oral examination of your teeth. If your dentist or you feel that a more thorough evaluation is required for certain teeth or areas, an x-ray may be taken to investigate further to check under teeth surfaces and gums. Professional teeth cleaning, scaling and polishing is recommended bi-annually or every 6 months to maintain your oral health and keep you smiling. Calculus and accumulated bacteria on teeth are common causes tooth decay or gum disease. During teeth cleaning, scaling and polishing with your dentist, hard tartar are scrapped off by scalers curettes.

FLUORIDE DENTAL TREATMENT
